Hiring for our launch team is a really big deal to me.     ABOUT SELF LOVE SUPERSTORE

    Self Love Superstore is a wellbeing and community space in Cardiff, bringing together treatment rooms, coworking, classes, events and a growing community of practitioners and members.

    We've been open since February and we're now looking for someone to help us grow the space and make the most of the opportunities around us.

    This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys people, sales, community and getting things done.

    THE ROLE

    You'll be one of the main points of contact at Self Love Superstore during your working hours and will play an important role in making the space busy, welcoming and commercially successful.

    A big part of the role will be bringing more people into Self Love Superstore - whether that's through room hire, coworking, events, classes, partnerships or other opportunities.

    We're looking for someone who is naturally proactive and comfortable taking an idea and turning it into something that happens.

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & SALES

    • Promote our treatment rooms, coworking and studio/event space

    • Respond to enquiries and follow up potential customers

    • Build relationships with local businesses, practitioners, teachers and organisations

    • Identify new opportunities to generate bookings and revenue

    • Encourage one-off bookings to become regular bookings

    • Help grow our coworking community

    • Support the development and promotion of events and classes

    • Keep on top of leads and make sure opportunities don't get missed

    COMMUNITY & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

    • Welcome members, practitioners, clients and visitors

    • Make sure people have a great experience when they're at Self Love Superstore

    • Build relationships with the people using the space

    • Help create a friendly, welcoming community

    • Help organise events and community activities

    • Be proactive in spotting anything that could make the space work better

    MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA

    • Help manage Self Love Superstore social media

    • Create simple, engaging content

    • Promote what's happening at Self Love Superstore

    • Highlight our practitioners, members, events and spaces

    • Look for local collaborations and opportunities to increase awareness

    GENERAL

    • Help keep the space organised and running smoothly

    • Deal with day-to-day customer queries

    • Work with the Self Love Superstore team to solve problems quickly

    • Keep an eye on what's happening across the building and make sure nothing gets missed

    • Bring ideas and suggestions for how we can improve and grow

    ABOUT YOU

    Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is good with people and good at generating business.

    You might have experience in sales, hospitality, events, coworking, wellness, fitness, community management or business development.

    You don't need to have worked in exactly this type of role before. We're more interested in your attitude, personality and ability to get things moving.

    You'll ideally be:

    • Friendly, confident and comfortable talking to new people

    • Commercially minded and comfortable with sales

    • Proactive and good at following things up

    • Organised and reliable

    • Comfortable using social media

    • Good at building relationships

    • Someone who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do

    • Excited by the opportunity to help a growing business develop

    HOURS & PAY

    £13/hour base salary + performance-related bonus.

    The role is currently 16 paid hours per week, worked across Monday-Wednesday, plus a 1-hour Friday morning team meeting.

    We're deliberately starting with a small number of hours and will increase them as the demand for the role grows.

    The performance-related bonus gives you the opportunity to earn more as you help generate additional business for Self Love Superstore.

    The bonus will be linked to the things you can directly influence, including new room hire, recurring bookings, coworking growth, events and new business.

    We want the person in this role to share in the success they help create.

We focus on treatments that support genuine wellbeing - prioritising natural, ethical, and holistic approaches over clinical interventions. As we grow, we’re looking for skilled and passionate Beauty and Holistic Health Therapists to oversee and deliver a range of treatments, helping clients feel confident, cared for, and radiant.

    Role Overview

    We’re seeking qualified therapists from either a beauty or holistic background (or both) to join our growing wellness team. You’ll deliver high-quality, tailored treatments that combine technical excellence with genuine care -helping clients feel renewed, confident, and at ease.

    Beauty therapists will provide a variety of natural beauty treatments, from skincare and facials to waxing, nails, and other holistic services.

    Holistic Health therapists will focus more on energy-based and stress removing treatments, such as reiki, Indian head massage, crystal healing.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide a range of treatments aligned with your qualifications and expertise - e.g., facials, body treatments, massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, or energy work.

    • Create a personalised, professional experience for every client.

    • Maintain exceptional hygiene, presentation, and service standards.

    • Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

    • Build lasting client relationships through excellent care and communication.

    • Recommend suitable aftercare and products to support ongoing wellbeing.

    • Stay informed about new techniques, trends, and holistic practices within your field.

    Ideal Candidates

    • Qualified Beauty Therapist (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)orHolistic Health Practitioner.

    • 2+ years’ experience in a spa, clinic, or wellness setting.

    • Strong hands-on skills and confident delivering treatments independently.

    • Professional, reliable, and focused on exceptional client experience.

    • Passionate about wellbeing, self-care, and continuous professional growth.

    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

    As we launch this exciting new venture, we’re building a collective of skilled freelance facilitators to deliver high-quality, mindful movement and wellness sessions. Self Love Superstore offers a curated programme of yoga, Pilates, breathwork, meditation, and sound-based experiences - all designed to help clients restore balance, strength, and focus in a calm, contemporary environment.

    Role Overview

    We’re looking for confident, experienced instructors and practitioners to lead group sessions such as yoga, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, or other holistic movement-based classes. You’ll bring your own teaching style and energy while aligning with the overall tone and ethos of our wellness space.

    This is a freelance role, ideal for practitioners who already run their own classes or want to expand their client base within a supportive, design-led environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver engaging and inclusive classes (e.g. yoga, sound healing, breathwork, meditation, or similar).

    • Create a professional and welcoming experience for clients of all levels.

    • Manage class setup, timing, and flow to ensure smooth delivery.

    • Maintain strong communication with the in-house team regarding scheduling and studio use.

    • Promote your sessions where appropriate through your own channels.

    • Contribute to a consistent, high-quality programme of classes across the timetable.

    Ideal Candidates

    • Certified in your discipline (e.g. Yoga Alliance, Sound Healing, Breathwork, Meditation, or equivalent).

    • 2+ years’ experience teaching individuals or groups.

    • Confident, reliable, and able to work independently.
